Hi guys,

I keep reading about this "certificate of good conduct" from the ministry of foreign affairs and different legal papers to show that the intending immigrant has not been convicted in the foreign country I am guessing. I am not too clear on that. Does that apply only to people who are applying for immigration from outside the US and dealing with the Consulates?!? I have been here for 7yrs now (since I graduated high-school)first on a student visa, then OPT, now H1B and hubby filed I130 concurrently with i485,i765,i131. Do I need to worry about that and may be get on the ball and call the ministry of foreign affairs in my country or???

Can someone please explain to me what people are talking about when they refer to the criminal history thingy???

Thank you :}
