IM confused and stressed right now lol... :crying:

we called the embassy last week and they told as that our case is already in there electronic file and still waiting for the physical file to arrive,it was sent May 17.

i keep on calling the number of the usem manila but the automated answering machine transferred me to another line telling me if i want to schedule an interview appointment i should complete and fill up the online DS-160..

has anyone tried to fill up that online form?

coz i tried scheduling my interview in the website that they told me but then i cant move forward coz they keep asking me for the CEAC bardcode.and the only way to get that barcode is to complete the application of the ds-160..

what got me worried is if i file that ds-160 and submit it so i can get the ceac barcode is what if the embassy will send me the letter and the form that they want me to fill up is the ds-156,156k and the ds-157 and not the ds-160?

ugh i really dont know what to dooooo please help..

thank you very much. :luv:

HI...

You can go to this website: www.ustraveldocs.com.ph, click the VISA menu then the IMMIGRANT VISA. inside it, you can find the Forms and Packets. Click the FORMS, and you will see alot of forms to download like DS-160K, DS-157, 158 & 230 part I & II. Just Click the DS-160 Form and filled it up.. Anyway, just follow the instructions and before you know it, you are already done.. It's very easy & you can do it... Goodluck!

Rylin,

VJ members more experienced than I explain that DS-160 is not required for K1 visa applicants at Manila Embassy. Here is a link to thread in which those more experienced members explain why DS-160 is not required and also supply appropriate explanatory links:

Continuing good luck on your visa journey.
