I see a lot of people in their timelines that know the exact date that the Ciudad Juarez consulate sent out their packet three letters. How do you find out when they sent it? Do you call them? If so, what's the number :)

Yeah, just call the Consulate Call Center and ask about the date they received you case and if they've sent your packet 3 out already. If you're in the States, you can call 703 439 2313. If you're in Mexico go here: http://mexico.usvisa-info.com/en-MX/selfservice/us_service_options . It has local numbers in Mexico for the same call center.

I was looking at your timeline and wondering if you have received Packet 3 yet... either in Mexico or the U.S.? If not and you don't receive by the time you have your interview, what is your plan?

Just curious because we just started our wait for packet 3 but want to go ahead and schedule the interview for the first week of July so we can buy plane tickets cheaper, but we're worried we won't receive the letter in time.

no i haven't received anything yet on either side. i talked to a supervisor at the call center and she put in a report that'll force the consulate to look over my case and provide a solution to my lack of letter. i also asked MandD a huge favor to confirm if what the call center says is true, because they tell me over and over that they'll print me a copy of the invitation letter at the info window. MandD is kind enough to go and ask to be printed one out, as if she didn't have hers to confirm if they'll print out the letter or not. i'm not sure what I'm gonna do if i get there and haven't received anything yet and they're not printing anything out at the window.

i wouldn't worry too much though, this seems to be only happening to me. Another VJer who got their NOA2 the same exact day as me, and whose case got to Juarez even a couple days later than mine got their letter last week. i think it's safe to make your appointment in july, it's still another week to even get to june.
