Just got an an email RFE about my IV packet. A few days ago I got one for my AOS and sent in the missing info which should be there by Monday. The latest IV RFE says the following:

Israel: Generally available. Israeli police certificates are available for citizens and residents of

Israel as well as nonresidents. Police certificates may be requested at any Israeli police

station. They are sent directly to the U.S. Embassy. Former residents residing outside of Israel

should apply in person at an Israeli consular or diplomatic mission.

So basically - I did not include the police certificate because it is sent directly to the embassy and when I called them a few weeks ago they said this was fine!! Maybe I'm receiving this RFE about the IV packet because the AOS is not complete yet?? In any case I'll call on Monday and find out what's up. Weird.

Update: Just called the NVC and they said to disregard the request for the police certificate as it goes directly to the embassy. This RFE was sent as they're still waiting for the updated AOS info which should be arriving today. Yay! At least I know the IV packet is complete, hoping I sent what they want for the AOS...
