My 9 and 14 years old children went to St. Luke's for their medical a week before the May 10 interview. I was not aware of this forum until now and did not know that vaccination is included in the medical fee. By mistake, her pediatrician gave her MMR shot to complete the vaccination requirement as she prepared the vaccination record/report. St. Luke's did not want to administer the Tuberculin skin test because they said it will give a false result because MMR shot was just given. In short, she has to come back after a month to get tested (TST).

If TST result is positve for a 9 year old, what would be the next step? I am assuming chest xray?

If chest xray is positive, what treatment is needed and how long will it take to get the clearance?

I am hoping everything will be negative but I would like to get some inputs so I can be prepared if it turns out to be positive.

What is the waiting period between the medical clearance and scheduling interview?

Do I have to call Embassy to re-schedule the interview or St. Luke's will re-schedule it for me? NVC was the one who sent me the letter notifying me that the petition is approved with interview date.

Thank you so much for taking time in responding to my questions.
