Does anyone know how long it is taking Scotland Yard to issue police certificates? We havent gotten our NOA2 yet but hope to seen (November 8, 2010 filers) and I am a little worried that it will not be here in time for the interview. Thanks!

November 10, 2008 - my first trip to England

April, 2009 - second trip here

July, 2009 - my second trip to England

November, 2009 - third trip here

November 30, 2009 - ENGAGED

April, 2010 - fourth trip here

October, 2010 - fifth trip here

October 30, 2010 - USCIS paperwork filed

November 12, 2010 - NOA1 received (dated 11/8/10)

November 19, 2010 - touched

March 8, 2011 - 6th trip here

April 15, 2011 - NOA2 approval ??????

April 29, 2011 - letter from DOS rec'd

May 3, 2011 - packet rec'd from US Embassy

I believe he only needs one for the whole UK. I know on the website it doesn't mention Scotland but on this website: http://travel.state.gov/visa/fees/fees_4881.html?cid=3699 it says for Scotland as well. I remember that it took like 10 days to get this police certificate. But if it comes back "no live trace" then you have to get a different kind of certificate, not sure what it's called someone else can help here, which I believe takes 40 days.

March 16th, 2009 -- AOS Sent

May 8th, 2009 -- EAD & AP Approved (51days)

July 14th, 2009 -- AOS Approved!! (118days)

July 21st, 2009 -- Green Card Received (125days)

No RFEs the whole process :) All done myself.

December 4th - 30th, 2009 -- Visited England

April 8th - 30th, 2010 -- Damian's Brother visits us here in PA.

January 19th, 2010 -- Damian got his PA license.

December 10th - 19th, 2010 -- Visited England

September 16th - 30th, 2011 -- Damian's Parents came to visit us here in PA.

June 1st, 2011 -- Mailed ROC to Vermont.

February 21st, 2012 -- 10 Year Green Card Received

April 14th, 2012 -- N-400 Sent to Dallas Lockbox

November 26th, 2012 – Damian Became a US Citizen!!!

Do you know if we need to get the BASIC, STANDARD or ENHANCED check??? i have my NOA2 and i too have heard people saying its taking a while so i guess i better crack on with things
