Interview Appointments - Montreal

Hey guys,

Hope someone can help me here. I am trying to book an interview and still say no available appointments at this time! I log in to the site more than 10 times a day to get a date. I was wondering why this happening is! Did anyone book an interview since last week?

I have seen a few other people who booked today... are you choosing "Permanently Immigrate (K1/K2)"?

I got an appointment today, just kept refreshing the page. It should work itself out, dont worry

Thanks Amila! Can i pay the interview fee without book an interview date? Maybe that way I'll be able to see their calender with available dates! Is that possible?

You can by choosing "Permanently Immigrate (Ready to Schedule)" - it'll skip the DHL and payment options.

I managed to reschedule my appointment on Thursday. I was at my computer for a good 30 minutes constantly going back and forth, refreshing the page and trying to get an appointment. Finally one came up (May 4th) so I booked it. I then got an email saying my June 20th date was cancelled, and that that May 4th was booked. Right after, I got one saying my May 4th appointment was canceled as well. I went back in and it said I had no appointment booked at all and again it said no appointments available at this time. I was livid! I kept trying, and was doing the refreshing thing again and got a date of May 12th. I went back through to make sure it actually went through and saw that May 4th was available again so I changed it back to May 4th. This time it stuck. Took me a good hour of just refreshing the page.

Be patient and keep trying It is frustrating, but if you keep at it, it will work. I am guessing the site was over loaded and was just trying to get back online.

I hope its easier to get an interview for CR1.

On the CR1's we don't book our appointment. NVC does that for us.

What is the difference between " ready to schedule" and selecting " K1/k2" I'm just waiting to book an interview but I thought I had to do it under permanently immigrate to the U.S. K1/K2.

You may choose either Permanently immigrate/ready to schedule or Permanently immigrate/ K1/K2 - if you do the K1 route, you have the option to pay the $350 online with your credit card or paypal. If you choose 'ready to schedule' you are not given the option to pay online so you end up having to bring US$350 cash to the interview.
