hey folks

Was just wondering.....are there any ppl out here (IR2/IR1/CR2) cases which were completed at NVC from the month (February to March 2010)?. If so, have you gotten an interview date from Ghana yet?. I noticed it was taking 1 year to get an interview date now and my case was completed April 2010 (IR2- category). I know someone on here got their case completed in January 2010 and had their interview already....pls share...thanks in advance.

There is not a strong representation for Ghana on VJ which is quite unfortunate since we really need to know how things are going with the interviews. Several people have been trying to find a way to get more folks going through the process in Ghana to join VJ. Even some of the ones who have joined just won't update their time-lines and that pisses me off because they are benefiting from the experiences of others but won't do their part by just filling out their time-line. It is not as if you are giving away any personal information that could be used to steal your identity or anything along that line. You don't even need to post any comments - although you may be contact by folks that want to learn from your experience. But at minimum, the most valuable thing that everyone can do on this site is to keep their time-line up to date.

Where are my Ghana peeps???!!! :(

Staying strong and patient in love and faith!

On a selfish note, we are praying that you get an interview also because it will tell us that the process is still moving. I think it is all about to halt because the dv interviews will begin I think in May. That usually means no cr1 interviews until after September. Hopefully, you will get one before that begins and you be successful.

Thanks..yeah i hope so. But u just brought to my attention a "good" point. meaning i would (God forbid) have to wait for 17 MONTHS for an interview date? :o .The thought of that happening, makes my head hurt. I thought the DV started in June-September.

I don't know what's going on at the NVC or the embassy? It seems that things have come to a complete standstill. It's coming up on a year that case was completed and not a single word yet!!! Absolutely ridiculous.

Yea still not a word though case has been completed since May 2010. I am wondering if there is a requirement for them to schedule an interview within a certain time frame. It seems that most previous cases were given in an interview within a 12-14 month period? Is that still the case?
