Cairo U.S. Embassy: April 2011 News

As for some of US waiting for the Cairo Embassy to reopen, here is some information I got today from the Cairo Embassy and NVC.

- Cairo Embassy: said they would be opening mid April

- NVC: said they are already rescheduling interviews that had been canceled and setting new April & May interviews for the case completed at NVC

Now if only my case would be completed this week.

OMG OMG OMG... PLEASE BE TRUE!!!!!! I am sitting here ready to jump out of my skin!!! OMG OMG OMG... PLEASE BE TRUE!!!!!! There has been soooo much waiting, wishing, hoping and praying! I called the NVC and was told they are done scheduling interviews for April and that there is a limited number of slots available because the embassy is just opening back up! Weeeellllll ATLEAST they are OPEN now. The man on the phone then told me it is quite possible Ahmed will get an interview for May. Soooo here's hoping this will be the reality! I am looking forward to hearing from those of you that needed to be rescheduled, did you make it to the April interview???

I know exactly how you are feeling. My Ahmed is working(judge) today at a Karate Championship today. He doesn't even know, he can't really get calls. So we have to wait till tomorrow to talk.

Didn't make it for the April interviews. Hopnig for CC at NVC to get one for May. Inshallah.
