Yesterday I did something stupid... While backing out of the driveway, I turned the wheel and hit my front bumper into the car port post on my newer 96 Honda DX, which messed the bumper totally.

This guy was walking by the house and said " can I help you? when I was looking at the bumper and saying to myself, Oh Shi7, how am I going to fix this."

I of course, cautiously talked to him, becuase I have been taught to be careful, everyone is a little wacko and it was kind of dark in my yard.

I told him, I messed up my bumper, he says Ican fix that for $40.

He gave me his work # he was starting a body shop with a friend...

Again to be cautious.... I set up an appointment with him at the shop which was near my house at a gas station.

He fixed the bumper and some other guy buffed and waxed the black paint from the pole and it looks brand new!!!

I am once again believe in the goodness of people.

Hopefully this guy isn't casing my house or car and is just some nice guy! He seemed sincere anyway.

It's great when something like that happens. It restores your faith in the human race.

Nicest thing that happened to me today was an older guy held a door open for me at a store, I then proceeded to run over his foot with the cart and apologised profusely. He replied "it's OK ma'am, I didn't feel a thing"! Poor guy is probably walking with a limp now.

At least you have a good body shop to recommend to people now.

I know this is silly. I was in my least favorite place of all yesterday...the grocery store. The cashiers were struggling to keep up and there were no baggers. I had my hands full of stuff when the lady behind me stepped in front of me. Then, she began bagging my groceries for me. Immediately assuming she was trying to rush me, I told her she didn't have to do that. She looked at me and said, "We're all in this world to help one another." I've been really moody waiting for this interview and seriously thinking that love feels like a crime given this process. So, it really hit me and made me cry a little bit.

Sappy, I know. But it really checked my head!

Hmmmm...could you be pregnant by any chance? hehe I was always like that when I was preggers.

Just joking...lol. It really was a very nice thing for that lady to say and you certainly do NOT hear that very often these days.
