Should I write to Vermont Service center a letter, if yes, can anyone provide me sample letter and the address where the inquiry will go to?? I am really getting frusrated here. Anyone plese help????

P.S O called USCIS, according to them, they can onl submit request for inquiry after 3o days past of my filing date.

The standard is 6 months, so you should wait untill 30 days past file date or 7 months before making an inquary. The 6 months standard is why the date was set to Feb 23 on the USCS website it is the same now for all centers.

VSC used to be the fastest, but not lately with the IMBRA law causing a back-log.

I would contact them at the end of September if nothing happens.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

If your NOA date is Feb 1 and the posted processing date is Feb 23, they are not yet at the 30 days past your NOA date. The good news is, your case is very likely on an officer's desk right now, and you should expect to hear something very soon.

If the posted processing date becomes March 2 or later, THEN you can put in an inquiry & are officially overdue.

Hang on & don't be frustrated just yet.
