Build McDonalds and a Wal Mart there.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Luckystrike,

even that was trying to be light-hearted comment........

it's a pretty stupid thing to say, on what is a serious issue for millions of Palestinians

The Palestinians are not building anything there. Bring in the corporations. Really.

"Fight till the end

Abu Youssef Shtaiwee said he saw the departure of the settlers and the soldiers as a victory for the Palestinians who risked their lives to attack them almost every day.

But he said that for him the evacuation of Netzarim and Gaza's other settlements was not nearly enough. And he said that a complete end to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem would not be enough either.

Mr Shtaiwee said that Palestinians should also have back all the land that now makes up Israel - the territory that his people fled or were driven out of in the war of 1948.

He said of the Israelis: "I don't feel that there can be any deal with them. We will fight them until the last day."

In his view, it was all Palestinian land - from the River Jordan to the gleaming sea. "

and therein lies the problem, it's the attitude...peace will never come to this area...

All done for the next 10 years...

Now more then ever..."and Miles to go before I sleep and miles to go before I sleep"
