hi :) i'm new to this whole process, my fiance is dominican and i'm american, i'm 19 and recently moved back to USA from the dominican republic where i lived for a year with my family. now i'm on my own trying to work and save money so he can come here and we can get married. my question is: do i have to be here at least a year working so that i have the 2010 tax statement? since it's already november and i just started working my tax statement probably wont equal the %125 poverty guidline, so do i have to wait for the 2011 statement before i can apply for his k-1? thank you for your help :)
