Hello Vj members!

I just need your help and give me a little inputs here.

I just called NVC and said they forwarded our case to Manila and got our MNL #.

What's the next step should my fiance need to do? can He now call to sched an interview appt? (what's the phone # to call?)

And regarding of the papers he needs to fill out, can he just download those and start filling them now?

And lastly, If he don't have any interview appt yet, can he have his Medical exam at SLEC for now? Coz I have red that at SLEC , they only need the NOA2.

Pls verify this w/ me. I will really appreciate your cOmments & suggestions.

Thanks in advance .

I would suggest waiting a week to call. It takes at least 3 days for the NVC shipment to arrive at the USEM and another few days to enter all the petitions into the computer system. The numbers are 1-909-101-7878 from within the Philippines or 1-888-877-9888 from the USA. There is an $18 pin fee for calling from the USA.

Yes, he can start filling out the forms immedately. Here is the link to the forms: http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3224.html

Many have taken the medical at SLEC with the NOA2. The advantage to a early medical is if there are any problems such as scars in the lungs. Remeber, the medical is only good for one year for Adjustment of Status.
