A cockney once went to Cartagena (Spain) on vacation. A Spaniard noticed that this English tourist was looking somewhat troubled so he asked him what was the matter. The cockney's reply "Well, hI 'ave two possible marriage proposals to choose from, those of Maria hand Joanna--hand hI'm 'avin trouble decidin' between". The Spaniard directed him to a Cathedral just down the street where he said "many tourists like yourself get their prayers answered"--so the Cockney entered therein and prayed there for half-an-hour. When he came back out, the Spaniard asked him, "were you able to make a decision?"--to which the Cockney's reply was "Yes--hI closed my heyes hand prayed, when hI finally hopened them hI got the hanswer". The Spaniard asked "what answer" to which the Cockney answered " 'ave Maria".
