Hi all - just a couple of last min questions before tommorow :yes:

1) were is the nearest bank to pay my visa fee of £62 near the Embassy? is this any bank i can go too?

2) Assuming my visa is issued, will I get it the next day by courier? (I am in Scotland)

3) Dam im so nervous! hehehe

K-1 Filling:

12/9/2005 - I129F submitted

02/11/2005 NOA2 APPROVED Wohooooo!!!!

07/11/2005 Received by NVC - on way to Consulate!! yeah!!

07/11/2005 Applied for Police Certificate

15/11/2005 Police Clearance Cert Arrived

17/11/2005 Received at Consulate

30/11/2005 Medical at Edinburgh Nuffield Screening Center

01/12/2005 Telephoned for Medical Results, everything fine

03/12/2005 Packet 3 Received from Consulate!! Yipee!!

08/12/2005 X-Ray and Medical Results delivered by Courier

09/12/2005 Packet 3 Sent back to Consulate

20/12/2005 National Police Certificate Arrives! *(TIP: it takes FULL 40 days to arrive, so apply early!)*

09/01/2006 Visa Interview date - (cant make it, asked for another date)

30/01/2006 Visa Interview - VISA APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

02/02/2006 FLY TO NEW YORK TO BE WITH MY BABY!!! WOHOOOOOO!!! so happy!

27/03/2006 Wedding !!!!!!!!!!!!

AOS & EAD Filling:[/color]

03/03/2006 Social Security Card Arrives weeeee!!

29/03/2006 AOS Journey begins - gathering paperwork to send off next week!

24/04/2006 Vaccinations: Diptheria and Vaccination Supplement form obtained

AOS is a bit of a pain here !!!

04/27/2006 AOS & EAD sent off to Chicago finally!!! weee!!!

05/03/2006 NOA for AOS & EAD recieved!

05/22/2006 Biometrics Completed :) - for AOS & EAD

18/01/2007 EAD Approved YaY!!

02/06/2007 AOS Interview - Pending once we submit tax form 05 & prior emails/

it may have changed when i went through mine last year but are you not suppose to pay your visa fee way before you go for your interview there is usually a deadline to pay it by, just check on it!

29th Nov 04 confirmation from post office that application recieved at TCS

8th Dec 04 NOA1

10th Dec 04 Touched

7th Jan 05 Just found out from this site that if your receipt number starts wac that is the California Service Centre

8th Feb 05 APPROVED!!!!!! bloody hell I am in shock

12th Feb NOA2 arrives via snail mail

24th Feb Got NVC number

25th Feb email from NVC case has been forwarded to London

4th March Packet 3 received

OH when oh when will I hear from the Embassy for my date for the interview?!?!?!

4th March Sent packet 3 back recorded delivery

7th March packet received at Embassy via recorded delivery

28th April Medical in Edinburgh

6th May 2005 Interview thank god!!!! A date at last

6th May 2005 had interview Welcome to the United States, I have my VISA approved!!!!!

23rd May flew to Atlanta GA

2nd July Married !!!!!

11th July sent of AOS and EAD

22nd July received NOA's for AOS and EAD

9th September succesfull with a walkin Atlanta for Biometrics

20th Oct had info pass for EAD, EAD issued for one year

4th May AOS interview Atlanta APPROVED!!!!

19th March 2008 Sent application to remove conditions

31st March 2008 received NOA

17th April 2008 Biometrics

missycuk2, the visa in passport is delivered within 3-5 days although mine arrived by lunchtime the next day via sms courier. (Yorkshire).

1) barclay's (other banks may charge you an extra fee for that service)

2) it is sent by courier within the next 1-3 days (for most people)

3) that's not a question!! :lol:

If we're talking about the US Embassy in London, I'm pretty sure they accept debit/credit cards.

If we're talking about the US Embassy in London, I'm pretty sure they accept debit/credit cards.

you need to bring the bank payment slip with you to the embassy ... i would suggest not showing up and expecting to pay there ... from what i remember! ;)

Good luck!! As for Q3, I can understand where you're coming from - I'm insanely nervous and my interview is still a week away!! Just think though, in only a few hours time not only will this whole long part of the process be over, but you'll have something very nice indeed in return for all that waiting. :)
