Do you live in or near Pittsburgh?

We have our AOS on March 9.

I hate driving in big cities. Scares the hell out of me. Anyway we have about decided to go up the night before (we live 3 hours from Pittsburgh) and stay near the USCIS office, which is on Sidney Street, and take a cab for the appointment.

Main reason for this is the interview is at 9 am sharp. I can't imagine a chicken-hearted driver like me trying to make it thru Pittsburgh rush-hour traffic, on time with no accidents, for something as important as this interview. Don't need the stress of worrying over it.

Can anybody tell me what hotels are in that area? How much we might expect to pay? And what I might expect to have to shell out for a taxi?
