Update on credit card/loan scam

Hiya everyone! Just a quick update on the credit card/loan scam that I had mentioned in another thread(I am getting ready for work and can't be arsed to try and look for the original lol..sorry!) I have spoken with the secretary from the court house in my hometown where I live and with someone from my bank, they have both told me that I have until March 2007 to open back up the case. Both ladies seemed to feel confident that I am in the right and will be able to get this so called debt cleared. The secretary from the courthouse also pointed out to me that the lawyer that handled the case is based out of NYC and seeing as to how the courthouse is in Lockport NY, which is 7 - 8 hours away from NYC, she can't see them sending a representative that far for a debt so small. So, until Ian and I get to NY, I am not going to worry about it for now. The bank is not freezing my accnt until they hear back about it which like I said won't be until Ian and I get back to NY.

I have been working so that is good...keeps me from looking at the online status 500 times a day!!! We have a buyer for the house...WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!! Things are starting to look up for us...now if only USCIS would at least "TOUCH" our case that would be wonderful...

I just want to say thank you to everyone for being so supportive. It nice to know that Ian and I can always turn to this forum for any advice or suggestions ..etc etc...
