Hi guys!

One short question. I will have my biometrics appointment next week. My friend had his last year and he had to pay $80.

On my letter there is just mentioned to bring the "ASC Appointment Notice" and a valid photo ID. There is nothing saying that I have to pay for something. Is it for free now?

If I have to pay some fee for that appointment how should I pay for it (check???) and how much is it?

Also, does anyone know how long it will approximatly take to receive:

a) My EAD card

b) An invite for the interview

c) My green card

Thanks for the help.

you paid the biometrics fee when you submitted your application. no need to pay anything when you go to the appointment.

Fill in your timeline (under your profile name) to get an approximate EAD date of card production. It's only an estimate, however. For the AOS interview estimates, click on Immigration Timelines at the top of this page and click on AOS. Currently it's about 120 days or so from file sent to receiving a decision.
