Hi all! I really need help. I entered the US as a K1 visa holder. My AOS is now pending, case filed on April 27 2010. I am very anxious about my case because last month July 21 my case status stated that they sent a notice but it was returned to them by USPS as it was undeliverable, which was really bad news. I called USCIS about the matter as advised. The thing is, I received my EAD card that same week that they sent the notice but the Interview notice i did not receive it. Just today, I got the email from USCIS to do the infopass appointment to the nearest field office (Sacramento) to reschedule my interview. My question is, what do I need to take with me during the appointment? Is there any possibility that they will just interview us right there and then (hoping!)? If not, how long does it usually take for the interview to be scheduled after the infopass appointment? Is it another month (OMG, so long)?

All information that you'll be sharing to me is highly appreciated... Thank you all...

Infopass - you usually take your id (passport), paperwork in question, any USCIS documents, and anything else you think will help your meeting.

I doubt they would do an AOS interview when you show up for an INFOPASS to re-schedule, but stranger things have happened.

Can't tell you the timeline - but you better act on it quick - as a non-show may cancel your AOS attempt.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
