Our lawyer got the NOA1 for the 129 F around the 18-21 of July. Dont know what day exactly beacuse the lawyer was out of the office.Any how since then we had not been able to check the status online BUT today I did a random check and it DID actually accept it after weeks of trying. So that is good but on the down side I got this this notice on there and now im freaking out.

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

Our last written notice in this case was returned as undeliverable by the post office on August 10, 2006. To update the mailing address so this notice can be re-sent, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

Could it be that they were sending me another receipt notice to my home address? Why would they send another one if they sent one to our lawyer a few weeks ago? Also maybe could this be them trying to send an RFE? What does the computer system say when they send and RFE does it say that they mailed you a "written notice " ? I sent in the new for with the IMBRA so im not sure if this would be an attempt to send an RFE. Its the weekend so the lawyer is unavilabe. Just trying to get some feed back before I talk to her on monday or I can call USCIS.Any one with suggestions on what this "written notice" could be please give me your insight. I want things to go smoothly. Any one who has the same time line as me should try checking their msc number to see if they are in the system now.

I used a lawyer and all correspondence from USCIS, including NOAs for receipt, was sent to both him and me. It may well be that was NOA1 that got returned to the USCIS. You'll find out more when you call. In the meantime, check your address on the papers submitted. Good luck.
