How long does it take to issue visa???

Hello.My interview was approved and the consular officer said it takes 3-5 working days until they will issue my visa.Now its 5th working day and still nothing on tracking by dx secure.I am getting worried How long it usually takes?

Don't worry it takes a few days as mentioned and could even take a few extra days give or take, in some cases they can issue it overnight in other ones it takes up to a week or two. If you haven't received your paperwork in about ten days I would suggest you call them but your current worry is way too premature, you need to calm down

Mine arrived about 10 days after the interview. I stressed out too, but don't worry it will arrive!

Today is the seventh day.I will see whats happened to the end of this week.I hope it will come until then.

So, to pass time, I went to the courier website and typed in the receipt number until it came up. When it shows up as a valid receipt number, then it will say the visa is due to be delivered the next day.

I am the American, and I knew about the delivery before my fiance (now husband) got the sms about it.

This is basically just a standard instruction from the CO, by the way. They always say 3-5 days, and they don't really know what the queue is like. Hang in there! It's exciting to finally receive it.

Good news Today I checked the website and they said my visa is due for delievery on 28th :)I am more happy now.

I had the interview on friday, was told same thing "approved, 3-5 days", and it is arriving today on wednesday. So doesn't take that long normally. only 1 business day since interview and it was in mail yesterday. awaiting to hold it in hands in some hours.

Congrats! You know, some time before our visa was received, the visa printer at the embassy broke, and several people were delayed for weeks (I'm glad it doesn't break often!). It's good to follow the "don't make travel plans before you have the visa in hand" suggestion the CO gives.
