Good day to everyone,, I would like to ask something about how to know whether my Visa had been approved or denied. This is my story,,

I just had my Interview for my K1 visa last June 02, 2010 at the US embassy Manila Philippines. the start of the process went well, but when i went to the final interview of the consul officer, he asked about our relationship, how we got to know, pictures, letters, etc, and the picture of my newly born baby with my fiancee. all went well, and the consul officer told me "before we will be giving you your visa' as he had said,, "we will be requiring you to pass one document from your petitioner". so i followed all his instructions, where i got this form and that states that we cannot process your visa right now that "Evidence of Sustained Income" was marked. it stated there to pass it from mondays to thursdays from 1-2 pm. where i passed it the following week. then they let me signed a form in the Air21 booth, but i never paid,, as the AIR21 personnel told me that they don't need me to pay right now. AIR21 is the partner of the US embassy in delivering documents to the applicants.i came to tell this to my fiancee at the US, and she sent me her work certification singed by the supervisor and the letterhead from their company. she also included all her paychecks when she returned to work after giving birth to our pretty daughter for the month of may and june. She gave birth to our daughter on march 9 2010, where she has to stop from work. my pretty daughter got my name, but not listed as her father because Texas law requires my presence before they can list me as the father the Birth certificate. nevertheless,i would like to ask if how will i be notified all about my Visa status,, or can anyone share the same story,, because my daughter is on poor health now, and i really need to get there the soonest time to help with my daughter. my daughter has left temporal hemangioma, where my fiancee cannot decide more to my daughters health issues. So i really need to go to join my fiancee and my daughter..

Please, can someone please help me on this,,,

thank you so so much,,,

God bless

Did you get a 221g form? I was asked for pay checks since my fiancé didn't send me any. I had my interview on July 1st. I'm now tracking my visa and it's on the way to me. I'll probably get it by tomorrow. Anyway, did you email the Embassy? That's what I did and I called a least once a week. (I only waited 5 working days for my approval.) I learned about my approval by calling the Embassy a week after I submitted the lacking document. You should be able to track the visa online after 10 working days upon submission of your additional evidence.

This link might help you. http://www.visajourn...stained-income/

Here's the number: 3012000 press 7 then 5184 or 5185 then press the number sign. You can email the Embassy at: ConsManilaNIV@state.gov

You will receive an automated message but someone will get back to you after a couple of days. I got a response from the Embassy and I was informed about the issuance of my visa.

Good luck!

Toni
