We got our NOA1 and tried to check the status online, but then when we searched for it there nothing showed up. SO we called the hotline and asked them. They provided us a different receipt number. We checked it again, it's in their database but with a different information from the NOA1 that we received like the dates and all.

And one thing more, it is stated in NOA1 that our case was transferred from CSC to VSC, but not in online update...

What is happening? What does it mean if it's really transferred?

Thank you so much and God bless.

whatever comes our way, we are gonna make it through

Not sure why it'd be transferred, since the instructions clearly state Guam is processed at the CSC. It sounds like something is fishy there. You might want to think about calling again and asking for a supervisor or someone who can give you some straight answers.

I would get on the phone and start asking questions. If your application is mixed up with another it could spell disaster!!

Make sure they know the info is screwed up and that your receipt number does not match.

If you let this ride it might take months before VSC get it straight.

We called USCIS back and asked for a supervisor. They said they need to send us a request of new receipt number and following after that is our new NOA1 and we should get it within 30days... BUT here's what I am doubtful about, she said that IF we don't receive the notice within 30days, just call them back and they will process another request. That pissed me off! It's their mistake and now it seems like they treated the issue as a joke. That's like the second time they said they will process a request and when we called the supervisor said she will process another request. I don't think they are really processing it then, coz every time we call, they do the same thing.

And I still can't believe how she can say that the date on the paper doesn't matter when that's all we are basing when will we possibly get the next notice.

Well there's actually nothing we can do but wait. We did what we are supposed to do, and it's up to them how will they want to play with it.

*I'm sorry guys it's just really frustrating. :(

You need to tell them there's been a problem and ask if they can just look up your correct receipt number. I hadn't even received my NOA1 and they were able to look it up and tell me the number, based on our names and dates of birth. That's ridiculous, I'm so sorry you're going through this.
