Hi everyone!

I am just filling the papers for AOS and for some documents I have to write down my A-number.

Looking at my NOA and my NOA2 I just realized that I have two different A-numbers.

When I was filling out I-129 I wrote down my old A-number from my old OPT card (I was studying in the U.S. in 2006 after that I was able to work in the U.S. for 1 year, therefore I have an A-number). This number is on my NOA. The NOA2 has a different number.

Should I just write down the A-number from the NOA2 on the documents and don't worry about it?

Does anyone also has two different numbers?

thanks

Adam

hi Adam,

I did have 2 different A numbers, one was from my Waiver approval paper and the other one was from the NOA1 (K-1 petition).

So when i filed the AOS petiton, i explained it on attached sticky notepad that i sticked right on the I-485 form page.

I wrote both of my A numbers on that sticky notepad with clear explanation where i got them from.

Was no problem at all and when they sent NOA1 for my AOS Petition, they picked the A number that was from my K-1 petition, so thats the A number i have ever since yes.gif

Tips : if you have something that you want to explain/add for them, just write them down on sticky notepad (my sticky notepad was even pink and have a doggie picture on it laughing.gif ) , they like it personal, trust me! well everyone does i think.

Alrighty, hope you have a smooth journey on your AOS, best luck!!!

The wait would be unbearable but it'll be worth it. It strengthens the love, it attaches you even more to each other, it shows how your man would do whatever it takes to be with you, that he will never give up on you because he LOVES you!! All the waits, stresses, tears, heartaches, all the miserable feelings you feel along the way will be paid off once you get what you've been hoping for...oh and WITHOUT PRAYERS? will be like trying to start a fire with water, JUST WON'T WORK!
