Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's

processing has been received. As soon as an interview date has been

scheduled, the designated representative of this case (applicant,

petitioner, or attorney) will be notified. The US Embassy or Consulate

General may require additional documentation at the time of the

interview.

Hi Dear,

There is absolutely nothing you can to expediate the process. I'm also in the same boat. I've contacted NVC on several occasions and I kept receiving the same "old song" respond. A case that was completed in September 30,2009 is still pending for an interview at the consulate. The only option we have at this point is get the authorities(congressman or senators)involve. I'm sooo devastated and frustrated about this bizzare policy at the consulate. I think we need to fight for a reform at the consulate..

My wife's case was completed at NVC on December 2, 2009. Could someone tell me how long it would take for her to be schedule for an interview at Accra consulate?

Have you tried calling NVC or just emailing them? You probably will not get any more information by calling, but you never know. I have had very little luck with emailing them but some (not all) of their operators seem to be quite helpful. Also, have you emailed the consulate? I have no idea how the consulate in Ghana works, but Ecuador's consulate, despite having a very poor reputation here on vj, has never waited more than two days to respond to my emails with very useful information.
