I have lots of evidence to send to the government for my fiance's visa application like receitpts for the packages I send to her and for the engagement ring, photos, flight itenaries, ticket stubs, emails, and phone records to name a few. I have an ACCO binder and I was wondering if anyone sent thier form in with everything in protective plastic sheets and if they did where would you find them for an ACCO binder?

Thanks,

You are sending copies, yes? Don't send any originals except maybe an original copy of your birth certificate (I know in Michigan you get three for $20 so I had an extra one to send). Just photo copy all of things on 8x11 paper (if a receipt is just a small part of the page, it's ok) and fasten it all together with the ACCO clip. You don't need any plastic, etc. In fact they prefer you don't, if they need to make copies or separate for some reason it can make it more difficult.

We simply ACCO'd everything together with a table of contents on the top. Photos I put in an extra large envelope and ACCO'd the top of it (so the pictures were inside it at the bottom, not getting whole punched). I then used a paper clip to fasten my bank certified check to the top page. All of that went into a simple manila office folder (just so i knew it would stay safe, i figure they probably chucked it when they opened the package) and that all went into the USPS overnight envelope.

Good luck!

And so he did what countless punk-rock songs had told him to do so many times before: he lived his life

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Good luck out there!
