English spelling of names on foreign documents

So I have run into a slight issue, my wife found one of her original birth certificates. The certificate is in English but the spelling of her name is a little different from the way she spells it normaly. Now I am assuming that the NVC realizes that non english names when spelled in english can vary, for example my first name can be spelled in english with a U or an O. So I am wondering if I should get a new birth certificate for her or can I submit this original one with the spelling variation? Anyone face this issue as well?
