Evidence of Financial Support

Ok, since we're new to all this I'm a bit confused. On the consulate information for UK (on this site), for the packet 3 a form DS-156K needs to be filled out. On that form it says that you need to attach Birth certificates, police certificate, evidence of engagement, EVIDENCE OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT, etc. I was under the assumption that those things were to be brought to the interview and weren't needed with the 3rd packet. Could someone help me with that? I'm worried because we don't have the support papers done yet. Thanks so much for your responses!!!!!

I didn't understand if the form here on VJ said it or one you received said it, but we just had our interview on the 24th and Paul sent back the D156 then TOOK all of that stuff with him to the interview. I know you have to check off saying you have it, but you don't actually hand it in until you get there.

Yes that does help, thanks! I found on this website (VJ) under "embassy information" which forms were in each packet. Maybe the list is wrong on this site. But I was looking at the actual form (that I found on the consulates site) and that's where it says it. It's confusing to me, because it says "the following documents must be attached in order to apply for a fiance nonimmigrant visa". But if that form is not in packet 3 it makes more sense.
