Hello,

I need some advice about my tax matters and I came to

US in oct/2009. I stayed in NY for 3 1/2 months then have to come back to India due to important

family emergency. I am in India these days. I have not been working for last 2 1/2 yrs.

My husband has filed for his tax return 2009 with status as Married filling separately.

1) So should I file for tax return as well? (I have not been working).

2) As I am in India these days and want to go back to US in May when my job (as accountant)

will start. Will this effect my return to USA? Could my green card be revoked due to

failure to file taxes? I ll file for this years 2010 taxes as I will be starting my job in may/2010.

Thank you for your time in advance.
