I have just sent my DS-230 package electronically. I can't believe how quickley everything happened once it got rolling. My husband has moved back to the US this past week so now I'm really wanting this process to hurry up! I wanted to make a comment about the PDF reader and such. I gotta thank Darnell for the wiki on the electronic processing. I downloaded the cutepdf and the Foxit Phantom and wow was it ever easy to scan and convert AND organize my files to send to the NVC. Anyway...if anyone wants to know any of the particulars just ask and I will fill you in. So far this has been an excellent experience for me (all things considered!).

I'm curious to see if you get an e-mail back from NVCElectronic asking to confirm that you want to do the electronic processing like I got last week.

When we first sent in the I-130 for my son, we included a cover letter instructing them to send all correspondance etc to me, as he is only 12.

When the case got sent to NVC, I called tto make sure they were sending me the docs for my son. Sure enough, they were sending them to him. They suggested I send an e-mail - in place of the DS-3032 - to inform them I would be acting as the agent for my son. They also asked for our e-mail address, which we provided.

Next, I received an e-mail instructing me to pay the AOS Billand advisdsing me I could do the electronic provcessing.I called NVC to see if I should pay the bill and also if I needed to send the DS-3032 since I was already listed as the agent.

I was told to send the OPTIN mail with a note explaining I had already been registered as the agent. I was also told to go ahead and pay the I-130 fee.

So far, NVC still does not have me on their system as participating in electronic processing....and it has been 2 full weeks since we sent the OPTIN mail.

Cdnmn

LPR since 2003 and will be applying for Naturalization soon. Currently working on I-130 for my son.
