Hey Quana I have SS question for you...you can tell your job you are actually working...LOL. Mikel got his SS card and it is the one that says he is not able to work with it, he got it before we got married. So after we got married we went back down to SS to have his status changed and we were both under the impression that they would be sending him a new one and we never got it. At the same time we applied for Jazz's and he already go that so we know that we allowed enough time to pass for it to come in the mail. It has been well over a month now. Are they going to send him a new card? Should we go back in and see whats up or can he use that old card when he gets a job?

both are correct.. he does need to go back and see whats up cuz altho it sometimes can take 6 weeks for immigration to verify docs.. it doesn't USUALLY take that long.. Roger got his back in 2 weeks i think, their could have been a mailing issue..

but Mikel CAN STILLl use that one that he has for a job..some employers get confused by that little statement on the card but for the most part he shouldn't have any trouble, his ssn is still gonna be the same...
