My Filipina fiancee was contracted to work in Hong Kong for one year but she actually worked only for 3 months and went back home. Does she still need to get a police clearance from Hong Kong? Does she also need a police clearance from the Philippines? How long does it take to process?

I got my police clearance from Hong Kong too because I worked there for more than six months.

Your GF doesn't need police clearance from Hong Kong since she did not work for at least six months there. She needs NBI clearance in the the Philippines. Read the Guides here at VJ

I agree..she only need NBI clearance since she didn't stay in hongkong at least six months.

i don't get it. the nvc sent as an RFE for police certificate. we sent them an authentic NBI Clearance and we got an RFE. What's police certificate then??? thanks
