The problem is, your "jokes" are at the expense of minorities. Maybe that is what is acceptable from your upbringing, but not mine. Before you make a crack along the lines that I'm some deluded, sheltered American who has never seen beyond his own borders, you can save it, i grew up in 4 different countries at various points in time.

You are missing my point. Take that commercial on public television. It's downright racist to talk up a single race like it's superior to everyone else, then only to turn around and cry murder when negative attributes, isolated to this same race, are brought up.

Equals means what applies to one group, also applies to the other. What's good for the goose, should also be good for the gander.

When there is genuine misconduct, the police should be fired, however, I just don't buy such stories. Police don't just crack and beat people up for no reason. In such incidents, they are usually pushed to the limit by folks who think they are above the law or simply up to no good. If someone was overbearingly harassing your spouse, you too would eventually have enough and crack. It's human nature.

The problem is that what constitues misconduct has been blurred through the years. I can't attest to any official proportion or statistic, but It is very frequent that someone arrested will say the police abused him/her etc etc. Because they said this, their defense attorney is obliged to look into. It's quite funny so see the evidence versus what the person actually said. That is a prime reason why so many departments use dash cameras and have very strict logging systems for service calls.

Will you STOP, for the love of fvcking Jesus Christ, trying to change every goddamn thread into the same BS argument about race politics?

Pike, take your meds and calm down. Breathe in breathe out. Accepting reality does not have to be the end of the world.

While you are at it, as per yesterdays discussion, try find me at least one article saying that society has not changed will you.

The same thing needs to happen in classrooms to protect the teachers from being setup. However, is the the sort of country Americans want to live in? Where people are free to abuse, while those serving the community have to cross their t's and dot their i's. This is why I mention the laws reflecting the times, on a daily basis. People will lie deceive, steal, and hurt others with little or no empathy at all. How many sick criminals do you see on TV prior to being arrested adamantly claiming they are innocent and being framed? Then only to be sentenced for the callous crime. I personally believe that sentences should be doubled for anyone that is that coldhearted and narcissistic to put on a show.

Furthermore, anyone caught faking a story against police or any other person serving the community should receive a minimum five year mandatory sentence.

BY - changing every subject to fit the same old rant you're always kicking off about is not "accepting reality", it's obsession.
