Who cares if GW is real or not, what are you doing to be less dependent on fossil fuels?

Front loading clothes washer and try to use cold water.

Switch the dishwasher to energy saving setting vs. heat dry.

Have two, 4-cyl. cars and try to plan short trips to save gas.

High rolling/low resistant tires ...save on fuel.

Don't use central air conditioning....use more efficient portable units.

Crank flashlights

fluorescent bulbs over incandescent.

I did that in my hippie days. Living off the grid was great, as long as we could make to town enough for beer and cigarettes.

But you haven't tried the Amish way.
