Jakriss (sage1's fiance) and I have the same interview date and she just informed us earlier that she already got her visa. As soon as I knew about this, I immediately entered my tracking number in the air 21 website but it gives the same result over and over again "tracking number not found."

What are the chances?

Thank you PhilandShir. My fiance and I are just freaking out because we already booked a ticket on the February 3 even before receiving the visa. We both know its not advisable but we just want to take our chances of spending time together on Valentines Day. Worse case scenario (God Forbids), I'll just have to call Korean air before the scheduled date of departure to rebook the ticket.

You can't always expect the same speed for everyone. Some of those who have submitted their I-129F with the same date as yours may still be in the USCIS right now while others are waiting for their Embassy to give them an interview schedule.

Enjoy the remaining days you have with your friends and family in the Philippines. You can't guess how much you will miss them once you get here. I know that you really want to see your fiance again but time is something you can't renew after fretting about the visa when it will arrive anyway and being in a not so good mood around the people who care for you there.

A flower (F) to ease your longing.

Hakuna matata.

God bless us constantly.

I'll give you concrete examples:

Vicky got approved on January 12, that's seven days ahead of you. The last time I read a post from Dain was yesterday and Vicky still didn't have her visa. I hope it'll arrive today.

My friend, Ate Mench, and I had the same interview date: October 2O last year, a Tuesday, like yours.

Air21 handed her visa on October 24, a Saturday, while the Embassy called me on October 26 to pick up my visa the next day. I picked up my visa on October 27, took the CFO sticker and green certificate, went to Century Plaza Hotel and had my ticket printed, and drove to NAIA around 1 p.m. to catch my flight to Hongkong then LAX. Yes, that's all in one day. I assumed that just like other people, I'd be able to pick up my visa two days after the interview. It's so true... there's no telling when and it's not worth your time to keep making comparisons.

Call the embassy to check on the status.

It's way too early to contact the Embassy. Besides, it's now Saturday in the Philippines.

The OP's fiance posted days back that GuardianAngel was told after the interview that the visa would be released within 10 days. She had the interview on January 19. Even without that statement from the Consulate, just think that it's still January 23 in the Philippines.

Giving the Embassy a ring is a premature act at this point.

WOW ARBIND.ARIADNE YOU LITTLE ANGEL YOU! hehe

My fiance and I are just freaking out because he already asked for a day off from his NEW job on the day of my arrival in Seattle. Its the only long weekend he's allowed to schedule aside from our wedding, of course, I still want us to have a long long long honeymoon. Plus, we already booked a ticket! QQ

It seems that most people are having the said dilemma. Guess I will just stay at home and welcome AIR21 with a red carpet and a big tarpaulin saying "GOOD JOB FOR MAKING US WORRIED!" joke. :jest:

Keep the hope alive. It's not Air21 that's not doing its job but the Embassy. Air21 can't deliver something that's not yet printed. I remember that when I ordered for my birth certificate, Air21 had to drive all the way to the rocky place of Liloan, Cebu when I visited my family (I lived in Cebu City for work while my siblings and parents are at the countryside). It was raining so hard and the Air21 guy's umbrella flew away due to the wind.

Have fun and don't think of it as waiting but as an extension of a very few days to be with people you won't be seeing for months and months once you fly here.

Scenario:

Husband called the USEM on 28th of December to find out that my visa was approved that same day.

Dec. 29

Dec. 30

Dec. 31

...... I neither bother to call USEM nor attempt to know if it's on Air21 already, knowing how much of a big deal 'extended weekend/holiday' is on Philippines.

Jan 1 - obviously is a holiday.

Jan 2 - Saturday. No.

Jan 3 - Sunday. Still no can do.

Jan 4 - I only started to count from here, it's been 6 calendar days and 1 or 2 (or 3?) working days.

Jan 5 - Called Air21 to find out that it is out for delivery. Got excited too soon, I kept on tracking it via web and sms till I get a result of "Delivery Attempted" WT'heck?!?!?! I called Air21 immediately to find out what went wrong and they gave me a reason that they can't effing find where I live ...

Duhrrr?! I gave them 2 mobile numbers and a landline no., I've used UPS/FeDex/LBC/2GO and all of them called when they needed to know where I am exactly!... have also been told that they will re-attempt to deliver on the next day (Jan 6)

Jan 6 - Hoping for the delivery. Called Air21 and told me it won't be delivered this said day because it was sent back to the main cargohaus and would take 24 hours to bring it back to the distribution offices. Lame ...

Jan 7 - Delivered finally. Scolded the delivery guy a bit <_<

Lesson: To get the most out of your excitement - expect little of them USEM guys and Air21 :bonk:

You rarely post nowadays, NinJones.

I printed your medical exam experience last year before I took mine in mid-October.

 Thanks for that. Although the order of the medical exam was different for me (it started by recording my vital signs first), your post was still helpful because I found out what to expect. I think all the tests were similar. It's just what came first and what had to be done next that swerved.
