Timeline

Hello all im having great fun at the moment trying to fill in all the paper work for the embassy :bonk: . and im now stuck on question 2 of the DS-156 (passport related) it reads as follows:

2. Place of issuance:

city

country

state/province

Now i presuming the city is london, and the country is obvious but what about the state/province bit is it London again??? any help is very much appreciated :help:

Was it issued by the UKPA?

Timeline Summary:

K-1/K-2 NOA1 - POE: 9 February - 9 July 2010

Married: 17 July 2010

AOS mailed - Interview : 22 November 2010 - 10 March 2011

ROC mailed - approved: 14 February - 18 June 2013

Citizenship mailed - ceremony: 9 February - 7 June 2017

Also is it ok to tick yes to intending to work in the u.s. but put unknown for employer (question 32 DS-156)

Q.32 - With Work Authorisation, Employer Unknown

and for the UKPA I'd put London, England, London since you've got no way of knowing which actual office produced it. This the HQ for the UKPA.

many thanks SunDrop, do you know if the photo that has to be supplied has to be U.S. format or can i get away with a uk sized one? it says 50mm x 50mm which i belive is US

It has to be a US-sized one. The only time you can get away with a UK-sized photo is for the medical -- they actually cut down US-sized photos to fit the form.

You can write "London" as others have said. You don't need the US sized picture until the interview, though.

9/23: Received NOA

10/7: Text from USCIS on status update: Biometrics in the mail

10/9: Received Biometrics letter

10/29: Biometrics

2/16: Text from USCIS that Baltimore has scheduled an interview...finally!!

2/24: Interview letter received

3/24: Naturalization interview

I'm trying to remember now what I did ----- I think I left the State/province part blank.

Can you remember what packet 3 forms you signed when you sent them back, I was told on a thread yesterday to sign them all except DS-156k which you do at the consulate? But now just before im about to post it out I notice on the Embassy info page here on VJ that you dont sign the DS-156 either. Is that correct?
