devilette,

So now you begin to fill in some of the previously unrevealed circumstances and the clouds may not be so dark as they first appeared.

Thanks E. I'm all screwed up because I went to college in the UK the last 2 years & hadn't been working at my former wage. I'll just get a co-sponsor to be sure.

What did you think - I had some deep dark monetary secret? Just a poor college student trying to get back on her feet after returning to college in her 30s to pursue an art career.... :D

devilette,

A short time in a job after a period of unemployment tends to bring into question the sustainability of the current income. Why you were unemployed and what you were doing during that time can make a significant difference. Your reason, which you didn't initially reveal, may possibly work quite well in your favor if presented properly.

Totality of the circumstances. What other good, positive information do you have to put forth that could support your qualifications to sponsor? Rhetorical question - no need to answer to the VJ public, tell it to the consular officer.
