i have a family member that was here in the us on b-2 visa, the individual ended up overstaying(despite being told not to do so) and some way some how ended up in Canada(i have no idea how they got across the border), anyhow said individual got married to her high school sweetheart(who by the way is a Canadian citizen) and has applied for adjustment of status or whatever they call it over there.

my question to you guys is, is it possible for her to adjust her status without any visiting visa or proof of entering Canada legally?

she (is a known liar) tells other family members that, she already received residency but yet she is still unable to travel, if this is true why is this?
