Blue During the Holidays without Him

Its been 6 months since I last saw Mohamed and it is torture. Here we are with another holiday season going by and we are not together. I miss him so much. The plan was for me to fly over there during Thanksgiving week but work obligations stood in the way of that, plus I wanted to save all my vacation days for when he gets here so we can spend some time together and get the wedding details hammered out. I now am regretting not taking those 5 days and going to see him. Every time I see an email from him, have an IM convo with him, or hear his voice on the phone I feel like crying.

I knew this process would be long and tedious and I'm ready for that, I think its just that the holidays are so family centered that I feel lonely without him here during them. I know that next year we will celebrate all the holidays together his and mine, I hold onto that and it keeps me from being too blue. Mohamed would tell me "take care sweetheart. don't trouble yourself and your feelings so much for me. i love you and i'm coming soon"

Thankfully we are close to the end of the process to getting him here. Pray for us during this last part, I know he'll do well in his interview but God's help never hurt anyone. Thanks.
