I'm not sure if my fiance needs the original copy of the NVC letter and the original NOA2 or if it matters or not. It's gonna be a tough push to get this stuff in the mail to her on time. It would be nice if I could just scan the NVC letter and case number but I'm not sure if they accept photo copy?

We think the scanned copy will be ok. Call St. Lukes and ask...

She never received a letter from the embassy for some reason though we already scheduled her interview using the NVC case number. She got an email confirmation from the embassy about her interview scheduled. Would a print out of that email be sufficient? I can also scan the nvc letter or NOA2 and email it to her.

Remember at anytime during this journey your fiance is subject to providing any originals. Never submit originals but have them in her possession incase she is asked for any of them. I sent originals to my wife (fiancee at that time) by FEDEX which were in her hands 3 days after I sent them. Just do not send FEDEX between Christmas and New Years day coz FEDEX closes there and wil not deliver during that time due to Holidays period. Thhis happened to me the documents sat in the FEDEX Office in Cebu during the Holiday period but were delivered ASAP after their Holiday period. Yes it is expensive but I loved her and I did not even consider the cost knowing her not having any originas inhand and if she was asked it could severely delay the process and she would get an RFE.

Good luck to you.

In addition, I printed out the scanned copies of my NOA1 and NOA2 that were sent by my fiance using msn and brought those during my medical.

When I presented it to the guards they didn't bother looking at it instead, they asked for an original copy of either the NVC letter or USEM appointment letter. Likewise, when I submitted my the forms to the US counter, the receptionist stamped my original letter from NVC with an SLMEC logo and my PDS number. I'm not sure how significant the stamping is though.

Regarding the submission of original copies, don't worry because as soon as the guard can verify your MNL case, they will immediately ask you to photocopy the letter. They will keep the photocopy and give you back the original letter.

My suggestion is, just forward the email you received from USEM (with your appointment schedule and MNL case) to your fiancee and let her print and bring it during her medical.

You will be fine.

A scanned copy of her MNLXXX will do.sometimes, mails from NVC delivered late sometimes if not most of he time.hehehe.

no need to wait for the original, just present to the guard the scanned copy of your case number and she will be just fine.

also a photocopy of her passport as well as 2x2 pictures with names at the back.
