Without question, the two biggest morons running for public office in South Carolina right now are U.S. Rep. Henry Brown and his “Republican” primary opponent, Carroll A. Campbell III – a.k.a. the two “retarded RINOs” running in 2010 for the first congressional district.

This is the ultimate RINO faceoff, pitting an entrenched fiscal liberal with one of the worst GOP voting records in history versus a socialist, special interest ####### who will no doubt exceed his rival in RINOsity.

Brown is a poster boy for the wayward SCGOP, a glad-hander who brags about his fiscal conservative credentials only to turn around and vote for government bailouts and spending increases.

He’s also the most notorious “franker” in Congress, spending tens of thousands of dollars a year on taxpayer-funded self-promotional mailings.

Campbell, meanwhile, is the son of a former governor who goes by the nickname “Tump Tump,” unless he wants to be taken seriously – in which case he goes by the nickname “Tumpy.”

Yeah … and this is supposed to be the state’s “high-brow” district.

Anyway, to demonstrate the level of moronisitude to which this “battle of the dimmest of bulbs” has sunk, check out this press release sent out Tuesday by the Campbell press office:

BROWN PANDERS FOR VOTES

Charleston, SC – Mr. Carroll Campbell, Republican candidate for Congress, today noted Henry Brown’s string of pandering press releases attempting to gain media coverage and election votes using the staff and resources of his official office; the latest is an attempt trying to co-opt of all things … Christmas.

“Henry Brown’s attempt to use Christmas to boost his falling popularity is amazing. Brown’s Congressional resolution, if passed, will accomplish nothing … something we should all be familiar with in looking at Mr. Brown’s track record in Congress,” said Carroll Campbell.

“If Mr. Brown would like to give us a real Christmas gift he would take back his Bank Bailout vote which cost billions and set the stage for Wall Street Bonuses paid for with taxpayer dollars. “Bailout Brown” should not replace “Santa Claus,” added Campbell.

The resolution refers to a press release sent out by Mr. Brown’s Congressional office today claiming he would introduce a resolution to protect the ability for Americans to say “Merry Christmas.” The resolution, even if passed, would have no binding effect.

“Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ. Mr. Brown should not play politics with Christmas,” Campbell added.

Amazingly, this is not a joke. It’s real (and yes, First District, you should say something).

The good news? First district voters don’t have to settle for one of these two retarded RINOs – they could vote for military mom Katherine Jenerette (va va voom), who in addition to being train smoke hot would actually vote the way Republicans are supposed to vote.

Or at least the way the used to vote back in the day.

Our only question is why KJ would run in a party with these sorts of idiots representing it!

Go Tea Party KJ!
