Hi,

I am quite confuse right now. I had my initial interview for adjustment of status (I-485) on Aug 20,2009. It was short interview; about 15-20 min and it went well. At the end of the interview, officer said that she see no issue but she can't give approval because they didn't receive my A file (probably my finger prints). She gave a letter saying that status is pending because of A file not received.

Within a week of the inetrview, I got I-130 approval notice. Now, today, I got letter for the initail interview for adjustment of status (I-485) scheduled on Dec 28,2009. This is the same notice that I got for my first inetrview.

I am wondering why they sent me same letter again or this is actually for my second interview. Could it be stokes interview? I would be surprized it it would be.

Please...help me out understanding this. I would very much appreciate it.
