London Interview Dates

So since I'm currently not so patiently awaiting on our "Packet 4" to arrive from London I was just wondering where they might be at calendar-wise as far as interview dates go.

Anyone with upcoming interviews what dates are they giving out?

I know the whole process can be compared to "how long is a ball of string" but it helps pass the time trying to work out when the big day might arrive - if that makes any sense.

Sharo,

We are in the same boat with you. We are waiting to hear as well. For a while, you could kind of tell the dates but now it seems that they are backed up again. They have everything from us including his medical and every time I call DOS all they can tell me is that his packet 3 was mailed to him and I always respond telling them it was sent back in 2 weeks ago. I am hoping for a November interview but who knows???

We submitted Packet 3 info around 22 Oct and received Packet 4 with the interview date in the mail on Wed I believe. Our interview date is 18 Nov 09.

Cool - it seems to have been really quiet on the Embassy side recently. I'm hoping that we'll hear something from them soon to as it's been almost 3 weeks since we mailed the checklist now.

SunnyLee Out of curiosity what travel date did you put on your DS-2001? Nov 18th is our daughters birthday so I hope that it'll be a day of celebration for you and your other half too!!

Sunnylee, how lucky!

I sent my Packet 3 back on the 21st October by special delivery, It was received by them on the 22nd October and I haven't heard anything yet. I phoned tuesday to inquire about them receiving my Packet 3 and they told me that they'd sent it on October 6th but nothing saying they'd received it yet. Boo!! I've been quite happy up until now because I've always had a date to look forward to, but now it seems I'm back in limbo!

I'd definitely like a November interview date!

So the one day that I'm not home when the mail comes is the day that of course my Packet 4/interview appointment letter comes!! Heck I would have gone out a couple of weeks ago had I known.... :dancing:

Anyway our big day is Nov 30th @9am (25days from mailing the checklist and with an "Unknown travel date")

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that everyone else gets their letters soon too!!

Ah Sharo, We are just back from America visiting family with our new baby and thought we'd come home to an interview date but nothing yet. I'm glad to see that even though you put 'unknown' travel date, like I did  ,you still got yours through in a timely manner. Suds law would mean that the one week my husband really can't make the interview is the week of 7th December and it looks like that could be the week they want to see him. Does anyone know if you can reschedule an interview and how big of a deal it is. I don't want him to reschedule so will do whatever to try and talk him out of it.

PS) Loved beging at home in US and can't wait to get back!

Met online October 2002
