There it goes...still asking question trying to clean up my mess....

I have been told if K1 is not canceled it lingers in the EMBASSY FOR EVER?

is that the information correct?

Do I need to withdraw/cancel it and how can i accomplish that....

Second question.....

Affidavit of support....does the embassy still keep that paperwork even if Interview failed?

Because I am now getting PARANOID (and rightly so) about identity theft......

I would send a letter to USEM, and have it be signed for when rec'd.

I would also contact the USEM by phone and confirm they have rec'd the cancellation letter

Sorry I don't know the details of your story, I was off Visa Journey for a few months

I understand you being concerned regarding ID Theft, but the USEM probably see's around 200 petitions per day, So I wouldn't sweat it too much regarding getting your Affidavit of Support documents back.

You had not missed much either.....I was off for a while too trying to recoup mentally out of this ordeal.

I now prefer not to leave any kind of strings attached....that is all.

Just in case the EX may find another unlucky soul again......heheheeh

Hopefully she learned a lesson this time, same as I did, and be a bit more truthful with the next one.
