Manuel and I need some advice....

We filed 129f in April 2009. They said our case was processing. Then in September, we received a letter stating he did not sign one of the forms. They are showing they received the form back on October 6th. We have not heard anything yet.

This may sound ridiculous. But, we are trying to figure out was our case actually processed between April and September, or are they just now starting the processing? If they are just now starting the processing, we still have the long wait for approval.

I am getting ready to visit him on November 11, and we were wondering if we would just be better off getting married, refiling for cr-1, and cancelling the 129F. That way he would already have his conditional green card and work authorization , and it would take approximatly the same amount of time as the 129f.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Kathy
