I would like to know if every bit of information provided on DS230 Immigration form will be verified for its genuiness. My concern is they are asking information about my employment in the last 10 years and i dont exactly remember and also if anyone can let me know if they are going to do a background check on me based on the information provided.

All you can do is complete it to the best of your knowledge. If you are unsure about dates of employment then try to at least put a months and year. It does not have to be exact, NVC do many diffrent checks for applications but as far as I know they do not check employment history.
