Medical thru IOM/MOM

Has anyone had their medical already thru IOM or MOM or whatever it is now? I was curious as to what the process was. SO was told when she called to make an appointment that the appointment was to pay for the cost of the medical, then she could go get the exam. So she has an apointment for this. Just curious what others have experienced.

I don't know about anyone else, but way back when, my wife had hers in Vladivostok.
