i dont have any tax returns from previous years because I was a student and did not work. I have found a job this summer and have been working there since then and am currently making more than the minimum requirements. But the only proof I have to show is my current pay stubs.

I tried getting a sponsor but was not able to. Will there be a problem if I dont have any tax returns?

thanks

How'd you get by the embassy interview?

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

i got a letter of employment and current pay stubs for the interview in the embassy

Use the same thing to adjust status. Just update everything.

Do you have enough income --that is, above the poverty level for your state?

yes i currently do make more than the poverty level...but since i started in the middle of the year, i dont have any tax returns. What i wanted to know is does AOS require you to have tax returns from previous years?

Like Dakine said, use the same thing you did for the K process. Add a letter explaining why you didn't file.
