Hm, I shall be going to Shoppers then.

Hopefully one of them in my city does the passport photos.

Hey Peachy, what time is the dinner reservations going to be for and what type of food are we eating?

Hehe, good question. I'm having a hard time finding a nice, inexpensive place. I was thinking around 7:30 or 8 for dinner, that way everyone would have time to get there (except Varba, he's gonna be late, you'll meet him the next day).

Does that time sound ok?

I'll look more next week for a restaurant :)

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to get cheap US style passport photos?

Walmart's are 14.99 for 2, and I'm not willing to pay that again.

I had got all the passport photos I needed all at once only to find out they have to be taken 6 months before the interview. I wish they didn't date stamp them :(

Costco... $4.99 for two pics! =) That's where I'm going for my new passport pics so my last name can match my "new" last name.

Event Date

ROC

9/24/11 - Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

9/26/11 - NOA1 Receipt Date

9/28/11 - Check cashed

10/1/11 - NOA1 arrived in mail

3/19/12 - RFE

5/3/12 - RoC APPROVED!!!

Yeah, that time sounds great.

And I got my Gardasil shot.

Wow that HURT.

I even had it out of the fridge for an hour and sheesh.

I'm usually okay with needles but I yelped a little when this one went in

I'm a complete wuss with needles, and it was nothing less this time.

Especially when I asked if I could request her put it in my right arm instead of my left (as I'm left-handed) and she said they normally pick a hip.. Haha.

As I was already a wreck and she saw that suggestion was pushing me over the edge, she complied and stuck it in my arm.

No bruise, but my arm feels like I was lifting 50lb weights all day.

I'd like to point this out for us women who have to get the Gardasil shot:

http://www.merck.com/merckhelps/vaccines/home.html

It looks like if we're due for our 2nd or 3rd shot and we are not on insurance, we could potentially get them for free or at lower cost.

I won't be on insurance yet when I'm due for my 2nd one, so I'll be looking into it.

You don't even have to be a US citizen and because I wont be making money, I qualify for it income wise!

It'd never hurt to try since Gardasil wasnt intended to be used for people trying to immigrate. (From what I've read)
